Building Code Officials (BCO) – Commercial & Residential
Location: Chester County, PA
An established engineering firm is looking to add certified Building Code Officials to its team for commercial and residential plan reviews and inspections. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, a collaborative work environment, and the chance to work closely with municipalities and the public throughout south-central Chester County.
Responsibilities:
Conduct commercial and residential building plan reviews and inspections.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and Pennsylvania UCC requirements.
Work with property owners and contractors to address code issues and recommend necessary corrections.
Assist municipalities with building code enforcement and compliance.
Requirements:
PA UCC Building Code Official certification.
Current ICC and PA L&I–verifiable residential or commercial certifications.
At least 5 years of construction experience.
Commercial Mechanical, Plumbing, and Energy certifications.
