Responsibilities

  • Read structural drawings, assembly drawings, site plans, and project requirements; identify discrepancies and communicate material needs or other issues to the crew lead.
  • Verify materials, parts, tools, equipment, and supplies before traveling to the jobsite, using loading and inventory checklists.
  • Follow the crew lead’s instructions and coordinate assigned work with the team to meet project schedules and quality standards.

  • Verify installations against drawings, manufacturer instructions, project specifications, and field quality control procedures; address nonconforming work through established processes.
  • Review work orders and plan the materials and labor needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Maintain organized tools, clean vehicles, and accurate equipment inventories. Check vehicle maintenance status and operating condition before departing for jobsites.
  • Document completed work, inspections, photos, drawing revisions, project milestones, hours, and job-related receipts; submit organized records to the crew lead on time.
  • Maintain professional relationships with coworkers, customers, and owner representatives; suggest ways to improve efficiency, quality, and costs, and complete other tasks assigned by the lead.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of construction experience preferred; telecommunications experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of equipment rigging, capstan hoist operation, construction methods, and jobsite safety.

  • Reliable attendance, a professional attitude, sound judgment, integrity, and a willingness to learn and adapt. Ability to work effectively with a team and handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to comply with the company’s motor vehicle policy.
  • Availability to work at least 40 hours per week, with overtime and work beyond normal hours as needed; willingness to temporarily support other positions within the company.
