Job Summary:

The PEGA Senior Systems Architect (SSA) is responsible for evaluating existing systems and user needs to design, recommend, and implement information system changes. This role requires collaboration with IT and business units to develop technical solutions that meet business and system requirements, with a strong focus on PEGA platform expertise and object-oriented software development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify PEGA applications and programs.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in system testing alongside business analysts and users.
• Create and maintain supportive technical documentation.
• Write system requirements based on business requirements when necessary.
• Implement complex case management and build high-quality user experiences.
• Collaborate with IT and assigned units to deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• PEGA Senior Systems Architect Certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience post PEGA SSA certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in all phases of object-oriented software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing solutions utilizing PEGA.
• Strong knowledge of application design, case design, data modeling, automating business rules, business policies, user experience, reporting, integration, architecture, administration, and security.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to WebSphere or WebLogic application servers.
• Experience with J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java).
• Experience with .NET, Oracle, DB2, and MS/SQL databases.
• Expertise in PEGA integration with customer technology tools.
• PEGA administration and security experience.

Special Considerations:

• Absences longer than two weeks must be approved in advance by management, with contact information provided during absence.
• Candidate must accept a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
• Compliance with client's right to dismiss if the resource does not return to work by agreed date.
