As an Airport Security Officer: Tuesday/Sunday in Kailua Kona HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. • Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors airport personnel and other stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals public areas parking facilities access points perimeter areas and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor assigned areas for unusual activity unauthorized access hazards and policy violations and promptly report observations through required channels.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner coordinating with airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs incident reports and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
