As an Airport Security Officer: Part Time Saturday/Sundayin Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 18 years of age

• Must be able to read write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers visitors airport personnel and government stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas parking facilities perimeter locations access points and other assigned airport property.
• Monitor for unusual activity hazards and security-related concerns and promptly document and report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Assist with access-control procedures credential checks and traffic or pedestrian direction at assigned locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
